Wednesday evening during the summer means Summer Fun at ECNaz!

 

During the summer, ECNaz gets together each Wednesday night for REC the Yard to enjoy a variety of fun recreational activities.

 

This is a great event for families and for people of all ages. Just bring a lawn chair and relax if you don’t have the energy to play but want to be with folks.

 

Our goal is to build friendships within the community and enjoy life together.

 

There's NO sign up required. It's 100% FREE!

During summer break, ECNaz is having recreational activities in the yard each Wednesday evening. There's something for all ages!

 Bring the kids to enjoy some playtime.

 Board games will be in the cooled Atrium for teens and adults to visit while also engaging in a little of their competitive streak.

 Looking for a community rather than activity? Bring a lawn chair to relax and chat with new friends.

There will be plenty of cold water for everyone and a special snack for kids.

ICE CREAM CONTEST

WEDNESDAY, JULY 1

6:30 – 7:30pm

REC the Yard on July 1, will be a Summer 250 Celebration with Ice Cream, Watermelon and Hot Dogs.

 

There will still be lots of games to enjoy.

 

Hot dogs, chips, watermelon and drinks will be provided.

 

There'll an ice cream contest!

 

Bring your homemade ice cream to share. Put it to the test for Most Delicious and win a prize.

June 10 - World Cup Night - Soccer games will be added to the fun. Wear a jersey for your favorite team – soccer or other sport.

June 17 - Pets & Portraits - Bring your pet to show off and get a pet portrait taken.

June 24 - NO REC the Yard tonight (CGC District Kids’ Camp)

July 1 - Ice Cream and Independence Celebration - Do you make ice cream? Bring a batch and enter the ECNaz Ice Cream Contest! A variety of prizes will be awarded. Enjoy the contest entries, hot dogs and watermelon while we celebrate the 250th USA summer.

July 8 - Obstacle Course Night - An obstacle course will be added for fun!

July 15 – REC The PARK North - We'll gather at the Paper Park in Cantonment (109 Mintz Ln)

Jul 22 – REC The Park West - North - We'll gather at Beulah Regional Park (7820 Mobile Hwy)

July 29 - REC the Park Southwest - We'll gather at a community park on the southwest side of Pensacola (location TBD).

WHAT TYPE OF ACTIVITIES ARE WE PLANNING?

 Active games like a Gaga pit, Kan Jam, and carpet ball

 Bubbles for preschoolers.

 Slower games like Cornhole and Lawn Jenga.

 

If outdoors is not your thing, join a board game indoors.

If you like to walk, our backyard property provides a shaded walking trail.

Not big on games but want to be engaged with other folks, there’ll be some work projects too.

Our goal is to provide games for all ages, from kids to seniors. If you'd like, bring an outdoor game from home that you enjoy.

 

Hang out with neighbors on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer break.
