NAZARENE SAFE
Your Kids Will Be Safe
The Church of the Nazarene has developed requirements for ministry to children and youth. Commonly referred to as Nazarene Safe, these requirements affect camp in the following ways:
All counselors must have completed Nazarene Safe requirements (including background checks and fingerprinting) through their local church. The church provides this certification with each counselor’s registration.
Junior counselors are minors (15-17 years old) assist adult counselors. Their participation requires pastoral permission and they are restricted from having primary responsibility for children.
Only approved counselors are allowed at children’s camp activities. All visitors are required to get approval from the camp director in advance.

Location is close to home.
Chapel is age appropriate and teaches kids about God and His love for them.
Lessons are interactive and fun.
The goal of Kids Camp is to let kids enjoy the summer and have lots of fun in a safe environment while also learning who Jesus is and how that changes their lives. And, they’ll have a ton of fun!
